Ode to Coffee

O coffee, you should know that you art mine friend.
Daybreak is bleak without a cup of that wonderful blend.

You energize me when I am groggy
And make my brain so much the less foggy.

Sometimes you are bitter and sometimes you are sweet.
Either way though you help to keep me on my feet.

The outfit in which I think I like you the best
Is that one of hazelnut, most certainly better than the rest.

And although a life without you could be lead.
It is a prospect that I most heartily dread.

And so to you coffee, I humbly implore.
Do not ever leave me, or I'll be sore.
